Coach Solutions, a Kongsberg Digital owned company and leading SaaS provider to the shipping industry, has appointed Christian Råe Holm as its new CEO, as Anders Bruun leaves the company to pursue new opportunities.

Christian Råe Holm steps up from his position as Chief Operating Officer to CEO, with Anders Bruun set for a new role in the finance industry. Anders Bruun led the company from its foundation and spin-out from Clipper Group as it built a growing profile in the highly competitive maritime tech landscape.

As CEO, Råe Holm will manage the handover and assume day to day responsibility for company operations, focussed on continuing and expanding the current growth strategy.

Coach Solutions creates software solutions for the shipping industry that optimize vessel performance and voyage planning to maximize profit and minimize CO2 emissions, using software to reflect unique vessel characteristics to improve voyage planning and inform real-time decision-making.

Råe Holm has drawn on his background as an engineer and a naval architect to drive the development of Coach’s business, which serves a growing roster of dry bulk and tanker vessel operators, creating partnerships with platform partners including DNV and IMOS.
